Below is a list of changes to the above-listed article. The online version reflects these changes.

• In the first column of p. S15, “β-blocker arm” should read “α-blocker arm” in the last sentence of the second complete paragraph. The sentence will therefore read “The α-blocker arm of the ALLHAT was terminated after interim analysis showed that doxazosin was sustantially less effective in reducing CHF than diuretic therapy (78).”

• Also on p. S15 in the ninth line of the second column, “labetalol” (rather than “labetolol”) is the correct spelling.

• On p. S19 in the first complete sentence of the first column, the correct URL for the GFR calculator is “http://www.kidney.org/kls/professionals/gfr_calculator.cfm.”

In the above-listed article, incorrect dates are listed at the end of the abstract and the third paragraph of the introduction. In both places, “1980–1992” should appear in place of “1982–1990.”
