  • Data are correlation coefficients between each item and a-PWV by univariate and multivariate analyses.

  • In multivariate analysis, age and sex were added to the variables. In univariate and multivariate analyses, simple (Pearson’s) correlation coefficients and standardized partial regression coefficients were calculated, respectively. Because alcohol consumption and the Brinkman index did not show a normal distribution, their correlation with a-PWV was analyzed using Spearman’s correlation coefficient by rank.
