| 3 | Fasting triglycerides >150 mg/dl (1.69 mmol/l) |
| 4 | Blood pressure >130/85 mmHg |
| 5 | Fasting glucose ≥110 mg/dl (≥ 6.1 mmol/l) |
Three out of five criteria are required for diagnosis of the metabolic syndrome.
