  • Data are means ± SEM. Age-adjusted prevalences were standardized using the national census in 2001 from the Korean National Statistical Office. Hypertension included subjects using antihypertensive medication. Abdominal obesity: waist circumference >90 cm for men and >80 cm for women. P values were calculated using a linear contrast test.
