  • Patients with type 2 diabetes have a higher frequency of increased waist circumference and systolic blood pressure. Patients with autoimmune diabetes (type 1 diabetes and LADA) tend to resemble normal subjects for all features apart from increased blood glucose (although a fraction of normal subjects had impaired fasting glucose).
